DO I DIE FOR THE SHOT?

When we worry about death, we’re definitely alive.

We’re placed in a situation, and we recognize danger. It can be reasonably dangerous (taking sick pictures while driving on a highway) or not dangerous at all (talking to a pretty girl) – regardless, it sparks our anxiety because we recognize the imminency of death for whatever reason. Our anxiety then becomes proof of our alive-ness: I worry, things that are dead cannot worry, therefore I am alive.

It’s a self-licking ice cream cone. The more we think about letting go, the harder we hold on. Because, well, If we let go, do we die? Dead things don’t worry. If I don’t worry, will I die? *anxiety ensues* How hard it becomes to just simply let go.

Ha. Ha. Ha. So how about this: Are you taking photos worth dying for? If so, that comes with the price of admission. If not, WHY NOT?????

DEAD THINGS DON’T WORRY. BUT DEAD THINGS ALSO DON’T TAKE PICTURES. If you bring your camera, never be afraid to use it. Take photos worth dying for.
